Direct mail for restaurants & food
Restaurant postcards and EDDM that put you in every kitchen drawer
Direct mail postcards for restaurants, pizzerias, cafes and food delivery: EDDM coupon cards, grand opening postcards, catering offers and new mover offers to the homes around the restaurant, printed and mailed for up to 60% less.
A restaurant's customers live within a few miles, order the same few things, and keep the coupon card that came in the mail on the refrigerator for weeks. Every Door Direct Mail was practically designed for restaurants: every home on the routes around the door, no list, the lowest USPS postage rate, and a 6×11 card with the offers and a QR code to the menu.
We print 6×11 EDDM coupon postcards, grand opening announcements and catering offers, bundle them and deliver them to the post office. New mover programs send a welcome offer to every household that arrives in your ZIP codes each week, which is the highest-response mail a restaurant can send.

The coupon card
A 6×11 postcard carries three offers on the back, a photo that makes people hungry on the front and a QR code to the full online menu, and it is EDDM-eligible as printed. Mailed to every door on the routes around the restaurant, it costs a fraction of a paper menu mailing and does the same job now that every menu lives on a phone. Pizza places, Chinese and Thai restaurants, delis and wing shops mail it every eight to twelve weeks.
Coupons that get redeemed
Three offers on the card, not ten: a family deal, a lunch deal and a first-order discount for delivery. Each with an expiration date about five weeks out and a code so you know which card produced the order. The offer should be worth the trip; a small percentage off does not move anyone, a free appetizer with a minimum order does.
Grand openings
Saturate every route within three miles two weeks before opening with a "we are opening" card, then again the week of with a coupon, then mail the new movers weekly from then on. Three touches in a month around an opening produce a first-month crowd that reviews and word of mouth then carry.

Answers
Restaurants & Food direct mail questions
How much does restaurant direct mail cost?
It is quoted for the routes around the restaurant and the drop: a 6×11 EDDM coupon postcard is the lowest-cost option, and the number of routes and pieces sets the price. Send the ZIP codes or the address and radius through the quote form and a written quote for your city comes back, usually within a business hour.
How often should a restaurant send EDDM?
Every eight to twelve weeks to the same routes, with the offers refreshed each time, plus a weekly new mover program. Coupon cards are kept, so the goal is to be the card on the refrigerator when the household decides not to cook.
Can you mail menus?
We print postcards only, so the full menu goes on the card as a QR code to your online menu, with your three best offers printed large. A 6×11 EDDM postcard reaches every home on the route at the lowest USPS rate and is kept on the refrigerator the way a paper menu used to be.
